I know that choosing a wedding photographer can be a challenge, especially if you are someone who has not hired a professional photographer before. Wedding pricing is all over the place and often very high. On the opposite end some people choose the cheapest photographer they can find and that is not wise. I fall in the Moderate/Affordable Luxury range. I have photographed every kind of portrait and event imaginable over the last 15+ years including many weddings. I generally work alone and prefer small/medium weddings 2-5 hours in length.
Style/ What to expect
I am customer service oriented and will work as closely with you as you like to be sure we get the photos you want! I find some people are happy with whatever I want to do and some want to be more involved and send me examples of poses/photos they like-this helps me a lot and I very much encourage it! I love color so expect vibrant images-along with alternate Black and White edits of my favorites. I do a combination of posed and candid photos striving to capture the joy of the day. We will go over the flow of what photos I take when. I love to take some more artistically lit posed portraits as well. I am very laid back, friendly and genuine! I do not care for some of the photographers I see who are very over the top in personality and who have the 'pushy salesperson' vibe. I will push to have enough time to capture a nice assortment of Bride an Groom portraits. Otherwise I go with the flow of the day!
Pricing
All wedding packages include all of the best photos I take, Edited High Resolution files. All photos are individually edited by me -not AI. Basic editing for color correction, exposure, needed cropping etc is done on all. Full retouching including skin smoothing, shiny spots/blemish removal etc is done on the best posed portraits and close up images I feel need it. I will send you around 20 highlight photos the next day. I usually have the rest ready and delivered within 10 days but it depends on how busy I am at the time. I send you a private gallery of the photos and a code to download them. The gallery also includes a built in print store so you or any guests you share the link with may purchase professional prints that benefit me. It is impossible to say exactly how many photos you will get but the minimum is 50 photos per hour-usually its many more.
$100 deposit required to hold the date. Contact me with location, amount of hours you need me and approximate number of guests/ members of Wedding Party for exact pricing.

Engagement photos are a lot of fun!
We can meet at a beautiful location in the area, get creative and get to know each other. If you have a pet, we can include them as well-I am also a pet photographer!
From $325 including 20 fully retouched high resolution photo files.
Video
I suggest hiring a separate dedicated videographer for capturing detailed coverage of your day. I do have a separate camera for video and can shoot clips of decorations, toasts, dancing and can put it on a stand for a simple video of the ceremony. I can send you just the clips or create a short video/reel made up of the best photo and video clips if you like. From $100
FAQ
Do you photograph Courthouse weddings?
Yes! The ceremony itself goes very quickly but there are nice locations near most of the Courthouses to take portraits out afterwards. It is very much worth it to explore a little beyond the courthouse steps for photos you will always treasure.
Do we get full printing rights and usage permissions for social media?
Yes. You can print and post your photos as desired. You just cant sell them. The files I give you are large enough to print to 11x14 or a little larger. If you are looking for larger wall art, I suggest ordering directly through me. I will take a closer look at the photos to be sure they look amazing blown up large, properly size the file and order the product for you.
Can you make us a photo book/album?
Yes. I do these as requested. These days many people choose to take their files and create their own. If you would prefer me to to it for you I am happy to do it. Price depends of the style/quality of the type of book you choose, how many photos etc. You can create a list of Favorite photos from your gallery I will use and I can send you a proof/draft to approve before ordering. There is a charge for me to design and order it added to the actual cost but I am very reasonable.
What kind of Camera do you use? Do you have a backup?
I currently use a Canon R6 Mkiii full frame camera. I have another canon R6 camera as a backup. I use a variety of Canon lenses and Godox lighting. I shoot all photos in Raw with backup jpegs writing to a 2nd card. I have soft boxes and other lighting modifiers. I use a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for video which films high quality footage for clips.
